New member area, new app, more data. And new limits.

Product news · Late summer 2026

Updated August 2026 · Reading time approx. 8 minutes · Applies to all YOGO studios

As promised, we are ready with the first big product news of late summer for YOGO studio management software: an improved member experience, a completely new app, new membership options and an expansion of the YOGO API with even more data areas.

In short

  • A redesigned member area with an activity page — 12 months of attendance history, activity map, favourite classes and teachers — and a single, unified My profile.
  • A completely new app for iOS and Android with your name, logo and colours, faster booking and an optional dark theme.
  • Booking limits per class type, so you can cap reformer classes without touching the rest of the membership.
  • Eight new data areas in the YOGO API, plus the option to ask an AI assistant about your data via MCP.
  • Five improvements in YOGO Admin: new report filters, campaign blocking, hide cancelled classes, free-class badge and course groups.
01Member area

Say hello to the new member area.

The new member area gives your members a single, complete overview of their own training: an activity page with 12 months of history, and a new My profile where membership, bookings, purchases and receipts all live in one place.

Most class booking software is good at getting a customer from «I want to train» to «I’m signed up». But once the class is over, there’s nothing left. The new member area is our answer to that — and it rolls out to every studio, whether you run yoga, pilates, fitness or sauna.

The activity page brings 12 months of training together in one place — history, activity map, favourite classes and teachers.

Members can follow their own progress

The activity page shows the number of classes attended over the last 12 months, an activity map of the year’s active days, favourite classes and teachers, and the full history. Members get a complete overview of their own progress and training habits.

  • Classes over the last 12 months — total count, monthly average and the record month highlighted.
  • An activity map of the year — one square per day, so active periods and the longest streak stand out.
  • Favourite classes — the breakdown of which class types the member actually spends their time on.
  • Favourite teachers — sorted by number of classes.
  • The full history — every past booking, available without having to go looking.

A new My profile brings it all together

Everything now lives in one place: overview, membership and class passes, upcoming bookings, purchases and receipts, videos and the studio’s contact details.

Better on mobile

The schedule is now significantly easier to read on a phone: improved layout, quick filters and a month overview, plus a new class view showing available spots, teacher and attendee list — visible before the member taps anything.

02The app

… and a completely new app.

We have rebuilt the YOGO app from the ground up. New design, new navigation and far fewer taps from «I want to train tomorrow» to a booked class. The rollout is already well underway in the App Store and Google Play.

Your studio on your member’s home screen

The app shares the same new design as the member area, but it becomes your own: your name, your logo, your colours. And because there is no browser or login in the way, there are far fewer taps from thought to booked class.

  • An icon on the home screen instead of a bookmark the member has to remember to find.
  • Persistent login, so members don’t have to type anything to see the schedule.
  • Faster screen transitions, because the app isn’t loading a website every time.
  • Push notifications as a direct channel to the member — bypassing the inbox entirely.

The activity page in their pocket

The activity map, favourite classes and full history are now one swipe away, so members can follow their progress while waiting for the bus. It’s the same activity page as on the member area — same data, same numbers, adapted to a vertical format.

Light, dark, or whatever the phone says

Members choose their own theme and can let it follow the phone’s setting. Your brand identity carries through in both themes. If a studio’s brand colour is too dark to read against a dark background, text and outlines adjust automatically while buttons keep the colour.

And we are not finished. There is more coming to the app over the autumn. See what’s included in the YOGO Custom App.

03Memberships

Limits per class type.

Until now, a booking limit applied to every class at once. Now you can set different limits for specific class types — for example a maximum of four reformer classes per month, while everything else stays unlimited.

That makes it possible to sell one attractive unlimited membership without giving away equipment-heavy or capacity-limited classes for free — particularly relevant for reformer pilates, where the number of spots is set by the equipment.

SettingWhat you can choose
Class typesExactly which class types the limit applies to
Number of bookingsHow many bookings the limit covers
PeriodPer day, per week or per month
FormatIn-studio, livestream or both
Other class typesStay unlimited unless you set a limit on them

Where to find it

  1. Open Prices in YOGO Admin.
  2. Select the membership type the limit should apply to.
  3. Tick Different limits for specific class types.
  4. Add a limit: choose class types, number of bookings and period.
  5. If you run livestream, choose whether the limit applies in-studio, to livestream, or both.
04YOGO API

Even more data to build on.

In the spring we opened the YOGO API so you could pull your data into CRM, dashboards and whatever else you came up with. Now eight new areas have been added, so virtually all of your operational data can be pulled securely and in a structured format.

AreaStatus

Now you can ask about memberships too

If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude via our MCP server, you can now ask questions like «How many active memberships do we have, and how many are paused?» and get the answer immediately — without building a report or opening a spreadsheet first.

  • «Which classes have the highest occupancy over the last four weeks?»
  • «How many class passes expire within 30 days?»
  • «Which customers haven’t booked in two months?»

Build your own integrations

Pull data into spreadsheets, BI tools, CRM or your own website — for example class schedules, course signups or active memberships. It turns YOGO from a closed booking system for studios into something you can build on.

Secure and controlled

You create API keys yourself under Settings, can deactivate them with a single click, and every change made via the API is logged. The API is available on Studio and Studio + App — see what the two plans include. If you are not on one of those plans, get in touch.

05YOGO Admin

Five quick wins in admin.

Five smaller improvements in YOGO Admin: new filters in the booking report, blocking campaigns across memberships, the option to hide cancelled classes, a badge on free classes and a new dropdown for course groups.

  • New filters in the booking report. You can now filter by which membership or class pass customers booked with — so you can quickly see what is being used most.
  • Block campaigns across memberships. Turn the setting on under Memberships so a customer cannot roll straight onto a new campaign price when the old one expires.
  • Hide cancelled classes. A new calendar setting means cancelled classes are no longer shown to your customers, but can still be seen in the admin schedule.
  • Badge on free classes. Makes it easier for customers to see that a class is free.
  • New dropdown for course groups. Makes it easier to guide customers to the right course — just like you already know it from price groups.

Frequently asked questions

What's new in YOGO in late summer 2026?

YOGO has released a redesigned member area with a new activity page and My profile, a completely rebuilt app for iOS and Android, booking limits per class type on memberships, eight new data areas in the YOGO API with AI access via MCP, and five smaller improvements in YOGO Admin.

What does the new activity page in YOGO show?

The activity page shows the number of classes attended over the last 12 months, an activity map of the year's active days, the member's favourite classes and teachers, and their full attendance history. Members get a complete overview of their own progress and training habits.

Does the studio have to do anything to get the new member area?

No. The new member area rolls out automatically to every YOGO studio. There is no migration and no setup, and nothing changes in bookings, payments or member data.

Can the YOGO app be branded with the studio's own name and logo?

Yes. The app shares the same design as the new member area, but it becomes your own with your name, your logo and your colours. Your brand identity carries through in both light and dark theme.

Does the YOGO app support dark mode?

Yes. Members choose between light theme, dark theme, or letting the app follow their phone's own setting.

Can you limit the number of bookings per class type in YOGO?

Yes. On the membership type under Prices you can tick Different limits for specific class types and set a limit per class type — for example a maximum of four reformer classes per month while everything else stays unlimited. The limit can apply per day, week or month.

What data can be pulled from the YOGO API?

In addition to customers, bookings, classes, orders and teachers, you can now also pull memberships and membership types, class passes and class pass types, events and event signups, and courses and course types.

Can you connect an AI assistant to YOGO?

Yes. If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude via YOGO's MCP server, you can ask questions in plain language — for example how many active memberships you have and how many are paused — and get the answer immediately.

Which plans include access to the YOGO API?

The API is available on the Studio and Studio + App plans. If you are not on one of those plans, contact YOGO to hear about the options.

Where do you create API keys in YOGO?

You create API keys yourself under Settings. Keys can be deactivated with a single click, and every change made through the API is logged.

What makes YOGO different from other studio management software?

YOGO is built for studios running classes, courses, events and memberships in one system. What sets it apart is a branded class booking app for the studio itself, booking limits per class type, and an open API with AI access via MCP — without needing an enterprise plan to reach your own data.

Can YOGO be used for reformer pilates studios?

Yes. YOGO handles capacity-limited classes such as reformer pilates, and with booking limits per class type you can cap, for example, four reformer classes per month on an otherwise unlimited membership.

Does YOGO work for multi-location fitness studios?

Yes. Studios running several locations manage them in the same booking system for studios, with per-location rooms, schedules and teachers, while members see one combined schedule and one membership.

Is YOGO a class booking software or a member management system?

Both. YOGO covers booking of classes, courses and events alongside memberships, class passes, payments, door access and member communication in the same system, so a studio doesn't have to stitch several tools together.
